The goals of the CGC program are to teach responsible dog ownership and provide basic training and good manners to dogs and the human companions. The CGC is a 10 step test.

Why have your dog pass the CGC?
  • All dogs, including purebreds and mixed breeds, that pass the CGC Test will receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.
  • If you want to do Animal Assisted Theraphy, having your CGC is mandatory.
  • A plus to having your CGC could actually be lower homeowners insurance!
Canine Good Citizen
          Prerequisites: Current and on Vaccinations
          Age: 4 months to Adult
          Course length: 
               Testing is now held after completion of
               each Intermediate Obedience Class.
