Basic Obedience
Prerequisites: Current and on Vaccinations
Age: 4 months to Adult
(Yes, old dogs can learn new tricks)
Behaviors learned include sit, sit/stay, down, down/stay, walking on a loose leash, boundaries, elimination of common behavior problems such as jumping, digging, barking and selective listening, house training, socialization, and “come”. Come have some fun and learn how to create a great relationship with your dog using positive training techniques.
Intermediate Obedience
Prerequisites: Basic Obedience
Age: 6 months to Adult
Now that you dog knows the basics it’s time to add some distraction. We concentrate on attention, building it and keeping it. Behaviors learned are leave it, watch me, go to, stand stay, settle, meeting guests at your door, better house manners, and off leash sit/stay, down/stays, and recalls “come”. If you like to take your dog to coffee with you, this class is a must!
Testing for Good Canine
Citizenship is now held after the completion of each Intermediate Obedience class.
Advanced Obedience
Prerequisites: Intermediate Obedience
Age: 6 months to Adult
In advanced obedience we will be working on distance work, extreme distraction, and advanced leash work. Wrap around recall, stay with you out of your dogs sight, drop, recalls out of play, off leash heeling, and perfect attention.
Rally Obedience
Prerequisites: Basic Obedience
Age: 6 months to Adult
Learn the fast track sport of Rally O! Rally consists of 51 behaviors that you and your dog must perform on a course that is different every time! Helps build your bond, attention, and leash work.
