Personalized Dog Training with Positive Reinforcement

With one-on-one attention, Emily rewards desired behaviors and gently redirects unwanted ones—helping you build a stronger bond and deeper understanding with your furry companion. Whether you’re working on basic obedience, resolving behavioral issues, or seeking advanced skills, each program is tailored to help you reach your goals through humane, effective methods.

Private Training

This program provides one-on-one sessions with you and your dog. Emily empowers owners with a clear understanding of dog behavior and learning theory while simplifying training into easy, practical exercises.

Each session lasts approximately one hour and includes:

Obedience Training – for teaching commands like sit, stay, recall, and loose leash walking:

Reactivity Training – for dogs who overreact to triggers such as other dogs, people, or noises. Focused on reshaping emotional responses through positive reinforcement and desensitization. Sessions typically run over an hour.

Day Training

Perfect for busy owners! Emily trains your dog directly while you go about your day.

You’ll only need to be present for:

1. A brief meet-and-greet to create your custom training plan
   
   
2. A follow-up session at the end to review your dog’s progress and protocols
   
   

For three consecutive days (2–3 hours per day), Emily works one-on-one with your dog at home and in real-world environments (like parks or busy streets). You’ll receive detailed report cards and handouts after each session.

Obedience Day Training

Tailored to your dog’s emotional comfort level, with sessions sometimes split for decompression.

Board & Train

Your dog boards with Emily in her Carlsbad home and receives full-time training for one or two weeks. Limited spots are available; all dogs must be crate-trained and non-aggressive toward other dogs.

Before training begins, Emily works with you to design a customized plan. During your dog’s stay, she establishes a routine and trains using positive reinforcement techniques—providing frequent updates, video clips, and daily progress reports.

Each program also includes a private one-hour session at the end to ensure a smooth transition back home.

Specialized Care from a Certified Dog Professional

Leave home with peace of mind knowing your dog is cared for by a CCPDT-certified, Fear Free, and Pet First Aid & CPR–certified professional. Emily’s expertise in dog behavior and care ensures your pet feels safe, loved, and well looked after. You’ll receive updates throughout their stay so you’re always connected.

Dog Walking

Personalized walks tailored to your dog’s energy level and preferences—ensuring they return home happy, exercised, and content.

Holiday rates are time-and-a-half.

Drop-In Visits

Pet Wedding Chaperone

Include your pet in your big day—stress-free! Emily provides safe transport, on-site care, photo assistance, and comfort breaks so your pet can enjoy the celebration too.

Dog Boarding

Your dog enjoys a safe, comfortable stay in Emily’s home with personalized care, daily exercise, and one-on-one attention. Space is limited to two dogs, all of whom must be crate-trained and non-aggressive.

Holiday rates are time-and-a-half.

In-Home Pet Sitting

Keep your pet comfortable in their own home. Emily provides feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship—maintaining your pet’s normal routine while you’re away. You’ll receive regular updates with photos and videos.

Holiday rates are time-and-a-half.

Pricing:

• Overnight (8pm–8am): $120/night
